First impressions have a lasting influence. That’s why it's
important that a neighborhood business district like East Carson
Street present an appealing image to potential customers, tenants,
and investors. Signs are particularly important.
To help small businesses afford attractive signage, South Side
Local Development Company (SSLDC) created the South Side Sign Grant
Program. The program offers a 50 percent matching grant to businesses
in the East Carson Street business district up to $500 based on
two competitive bids. Businesses that also participate in the Urban
Redevelopment Company’s Streetface Program are eligible for
a $1,000 matching grant.
For a Sign Grant application, contact SSLDC at (412) 481-0651.
