Getting Involved with South Side Organizations

Getting involved on the South Side is easy! There are several organizations that work to make South Side a better place to live, work, and visit. And they need your help to succeed.

Most of the groups need Board and committee members. Some of them need volunteers for specials events. Others need help with food, toy, and book drives. Descriptions of each organization and contact information are below.

South Side Local Development Company
South Side Chamber of Commerce
South Side Community Council
South Side Slopes Neighborhood Association
The Brashear Association
Birmingham Foundation
The Friends of the Carnegie Library, South Side Branch
